WHO WE ARE AS
CONNECT CHURCH

A unified body of believers learn to live spiritually, generously, and missionally in order to move the gospel forward together.

Connect Church exists to glorify Christ, make disciples, and serve the city through gospel-centered worship, intentional discipleship, and compassionate outreach.

Connect was planted in 2014.

Connect Church began in 2014 with a clear mission: to glorify Christ, make disciples, and serve our city. Since then, we’ve grown into a vibrant, multi-generational and multi-ethnic church in the heart of New Orleans.

As a diverse community of believers, we’re committed to planting churches, making disciples, and proclaiming the hope of Christ to a world in need. From serving our neighbors to gathering in community and worship, everything we do points people to Jesus and the life He offers.

OUR CORE COMMITMENTS

Committed to Becoming
a Gospel-Formed People

At Connect, we’re all taking steps FORward—toward God, toward one another, and toward the people we’re called to love. No one grows alone; spiritual growth happens as we show up, lean in, and walk together in the rhythms that shape our lives. These commitments shape who we’re becoming as individuals and as a unified church family, and they’re how we make the gospel visible in our homes, our relationships, and our city. As we pursue truth, prayer, maturity, investing, inviting, community, and serving, we learn to live out the gospel in ways that bring real hope to the 504.

We are committed to truth.

We are committed to grounding our lives in the truth of God’s Word. It guides what we believe, how we live, and the hope we offer our city.

We are committed to prayer.

We are committed to prayer because we believe God moves when His people call on Him. It shapes our hearts, strengthens our church, and opens doors we could never open on our own.

We are committed to inviting.

We are committed to inviting others into what God is doing. Every conversation, every relationship, and every invitation can open the door for someone to experience the hope of Jesus.

We are committed to maturing.

We are committed to growing in spiritual maturity so we don’t stay where we are. Step by step, we learn to follow Jesus more fully and reflect Him more clearly.

We are committed to serving.

We are committed to serving here at the church and in our communities because Jesus served us first. We use our gifts to meet needs, love our neighbors, and make the gospel visible in our city.

We are committed to investing.

We are committed to investing our time, talents, and resources into God’s mission. When we give generously, we help build a church and a city transformed by the gospel.

We are committed to community.

We are committed to doing life together because faith thrives in community. We show up, support each other, and grow stronger as we walk this journey side by side.
