SUNDAY

10:30 AM

1110 KABEL DRIVE | New Orleans, LA 70131

Visiting a new church comes with a lot of emotions—we get it.

That’s why we do everything we can to make your first Sunday simple, clear, and stress-free. We’re FOR you, and we want you to feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you think about walking through our doors.
On this page, you’ll find everything you need—quick details and helpful videos that show you exactly what to expect when you join us this Sunday. From parking to kids check-in to what service feels like, we want you to know the experience before you even arrive.

If there’s something we didn’t cover or you still have questions, we’d love to help. Reach out anytime, and our team will make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

WHERE DO I GO?

As soon as you arrive, our Greeters and members of our security team will be there to welcome you, offer assistance, and help guide you inside—umbrella and all on rainy days.

Right outside the sanctuary doors, you’ll find our Welcome Table—just look for the red table and red sign. Our Hosts are ready to greet you, answer questions, and help you get settled.

Once you step through the doors, you’ll see team members wearing “I Can Help” badges. They’re happy to point you in the right direction and make sure you feel at home throughout your visit.

WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?

What can you expect when you visit? A warm welcome, meaningful worship, and practical teaching that helps you take your next step toward the life God has FOR you.

Our stage uses modern screens and simple lighting to support the worship experience, not overwhelm it. You’ll see lyrics clearly and enjoy a clean, comfortable environment built to help you focus on Jesus, not the production.

Are there services for my kids and teens?

At Connect, we love seeing families walk in together! Both Connect Kids (18 months–5th grade) and Connect Students (6th–12th grade) enjoy environments designed just for them to hear the gospel and build healthy, biblical relationships.
Connect Kids meet on the 1st–3rd Sundays. Little ones stay in the Kids Area the whole service, while 1st–5th graders start in worship with their families and head to the Kids Area after the second song.
Connect Students meet on the 1st and 4th Sundays, following the same rhythm—beginning in the sanctuary and being dismissed after the second song for their own gathering.

WILL WE SEE YOU THIS SUNDAY?

You’ll find Connect Church right at one of the Algier’s main intersections (Kabel and General Meyer)
—a gathering place for people seeking hope, community, and Jesus.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear?
Some people come dressed up and others dressed down. Whatever you decide to wear, come ready to worship Jesus and grow in the Word of God.
Where should I park?
Our parking lot is located directly across the street from the church. You can also park along the street as well.
What type of music do you sing?
We seek to sing a blend of contemporary, gospel and hymns. The best sound though, is no from the stage, but the pews with every voice singing loud and praising the Lord.
What type of teaching will I hear?
At Connect, we are committed to delivering expositional messages. We let the Bible shape our preaching, guide our points, and guide the application. We also encourage every believer to engage with Scripture personally, studying and exploring the Word for themselves.
What about my kids?
We value children and families at Connect Church. Each weekend, Connect Kids seeks to teach children the Bible in engaging ways.  Children ages 1yr-5th grades meet together on the first-third Sundays to learn how to know God, make friends, and help others.
